Premature ejaculation
explained
Premature ejaculation is a condition where a man would ejaculate faster than he would like to.
It isn't very uncommon, and many men suffer from it at least once in their life.
Premature ejaculation can leave both partners frustrated and might also result into an
unhealthy sex life if not cured at the earliest.
There are several different reasons for premature ejaculation and sexual dysfunction, physical as well as
psychological.
A few of the most common reasons are listed below:
- Stress
- Depression
- Unrealistic performance expectations
- Sexual repression
- Lack of confidence
- Hurt, unresolved conflicts between partners or lack of communication
- Certain types of medications
- Recent surgery
- Certain neurological diseases
- Hormonal changes More often than not premature ejaculation is also accompanied by other sexual dysfunction problems like not being able to maintain an erection.
In most situations premature ejaculation can be treated with several types of methods that can be done at home
without any problems. The most common reason for premature ejaculation and sexual dysfunction is generally
performance anxiety.
If you think too much about lasting longer you would not be able to maintain an erection. The best way to deal
with this is to first of all have realistic performance standards.
Another method to try is to keep yourself distracted during sex so that you do not keep thinking about premature
ejaculation. Certain other techniques also work quite well like the stop and start method. In this method when you
are on the verge of orgasm you must stop for a few seconds until it passes and then start again.
Doing the stop and start method several times during sex will not only make you last longer and help you
maintain an erection, but it will also help you get a stronger orgasm. Another method to try is the squeeze technique.
The squeeze technique too is known to be quite helpful and just as in the stop and start technique, when you are
on the verge of orgasm you must stop and squeeze the penis to stop from ejaculation. This method works quite well
with premature ejaculation although it will take a little practice.
Kegel exercises are also known to be very effective in solving premature ejaculation problems. Kegel exercises
basically strengthen the muscles and the tissue in the penis and increase the flow of blood which makes the
erections last longer.
Vacuum erection pumps that are available quite widely can also be used for those who are unable to maintain an
erection. This device needs to be placed over the penis and they work using the vacuum force. Vacuum erection pumps
then suck out all the air from the cylinder which would draw the blood into the penis which results in an
orgasm.
Male erection pumps can work perfectly well if used according to the instructions. Premature ejaculation is not
something to be ashamed of or something you must overly worry about.
Every man experiences premature ejaculation at least once and it can be treated very easily with some easy to
use techniques.
